Our House

Two storeys of Saxon cosiness.

Schankraum - Public Parlour

Spread across various rooms over two storeys, you can feel the rustic and sociable brewery atmosphere throughout the public parlour. The long, stretched-out bar with its taps positioned in front of the room-high pharmacy shelves and two copper brewing tanks create an enchantingly unique ambience. It’s a lively atmosphere here with beer, pretzels and chat.

Salomonis Room

The partitioning makes this room the ideal place for groups of up to 30 persons, also. Reflecting the history of the house, a section of the room was designed to recreate the Salomonis Pharmacy that originally resided at this spot. Highlight – the original figurine of King Salomon dating from 1756. It’s a bit like bygone days when you gaze out over the Church of Our Lady – the Frauenkirche.

Kaminzimmer – the fireplace room

Our fireplace room is a picture of cosiness, offering space for around 40 persons. The table in front of the fireplace is particularly coveted. Historical, original photographs of Neumarkt in Dresden and the Elb Valley round off the atmosphere next to the large-scale mural of Henry the Illustrious (who awarded the delivery rights for the mining regions to the Freiberg brewery in 1266).

Banquet Room

For groups and other celebrations up to 50 persons, our separate banquet room is also upstairs available. In addition to original brewing utensils such as a restored Läutergrant, see exhibited here History of the Freiberg Brewery. As a group, you can enjoy custom menus and buffets.

Terrace

The great outdoors await in summer. Our terrace offers space for 140 guests out in the fresh air. You are directly overlooking Neumarkt, while all around you the historical silhouette of our city looms.
